Fine Art Paper
200gsm heavyweight fine art paper
We print on professional-grade fine art stock, the same weight and surface used by galleries and specialist print studios. It's substantially thicker than standard photo paper, with a surface texture that absorbs ink without bleeding or feathering. The result is rich, accurate color and a tactile quality that looks intentional in the frame.
This isn't paper you can order in bulk and stack in a warehouse. Each piece is cut and printed to order.
Giclée Printing

Giclée (zhee-CLAY) is the professional standard for fine art print reproduction - used by museums, galleries, and serious print studios worldwide. It refers to high-resolution inkjet printing using archival-grade pigment inks, applied with precision across a wide color gamut.
The result: deep blacks, accurate midtones, and highlights that hold detail without blowing out. Every HOOKD print is produced via giclée. No exceptions.
Archival Inks
Fade-resistant. Rated to outlast you.
We use archival-grade pigment inks with UV-resistant properties. Under normal display conditions - away from direct sustained sunlight - these prints are rated to maintain color integrity for generations.
This matters if you're buying something you plan to live with. Art shouldn't fade in five years. Ours won't.

Every work in the HOOKD catalog is produced from a high resolution master file at 300 DPI in the 3:4 aspect ratio used across our entire print lineup. This means every size prints at full resolution with no upscaling artifacts.
What you see on screen is what you get on paper.
